Premium Artisanal Mushrooms
Owner/Cultivation and Processing Manager
Jim is a medically retired U.S. Army paratrooper who served with the 82nd Airborne Division, completing multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. After leaving the military, he discovered the powerful role that functional mushrooms such as lion’s mane, turkey tail, shiitake, and maitake played in his own recovery, cognition, and long-term wellness.
Driven to help other veterans find natural alternatives to pharmaceuticals, Jim now focuses on sustainable mushroom cultivation, education, and community wellness initiatives. He holds degrees from the University of Maryland and Georgetown University, along with advanced training in mycology and cultivation. Jim is also a devoted single father, raising his two daughters nearly year-round.

Owner/Business and Distribution manager
Billy is a lifelong Franklinville resident who grew up on his family’s multigenerational farm, once run by his grandmother. With firsthand experience of how traditional agriculture is disappearing, he now focuses on revitalizing small farms through gourmet and medicinal mushroom production—including lion’s mane, turkey tail, maitake, and shiitake.
He combines academic background with agricultural passion, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Rowan University and earning a Master of Science from A.T. Still University. Billy is currently completing nationally accredited certification in mushroom cultivation and aims to keep farming alive in Franklinville through sustainable fungi-based agriculture, education, and community outreach.
